‘Four Elements’ Menu: The holistic menu was inspired by the ancient healers of Baja who were masters at tapping the powers of the Four Elements in their quest to balance emotion, spirit and physical well-being. The menu invokes earth, air, fire and water in its techniques, treatments and products. Getting a treatment at The Spa is to walk with Baja’s revered healers on an elemental journey that engages all your senses. There are pre-, during- and post-treatment components to each treatment that incorporate sound, sight, taste, scent and touch, and because each of the four elements has specific powers and areas that it positively influences, each treatment is linked to a specific element.
Personalized Experience in a Tranquil Setting: In the spa’s tranquil and secluded garden setting, guests have the opportunity to realize optimum well being and enhance their quality of life amidst precious desert flowers, herbs and plants. The Spa’s team of specialists assists each guest to formulate a personalized spa experience that fulfills their special needs and goals.
Healing Rituals: In keeping with the theme of the spa, innovative healing rituals unique to Las Ventanas are performed in the Spa Solarium, where guests relax before and after treatments. Daily at dusk guests are immersed in the Holistic Twilight Ceremony, a purifying and cleansing “limpia” ritual adopted from the ancient shamans of Baja. With many candles burning and crystal bowls playing, exuding beautiful harmonic tones, an acting shaman uses sage smoke, prayers and a large eagle feather drive negative energy out of their bodies and imbue guests with positive energy and balance. Followed by a short quiet time of thoughtful meditation, the ceremony prepares guests for the treatments they are to receive.
Soothing and Private Treatment Rooms: The four free-standing cabinas, equipped with everythng from oversized jetted tubs to music systems, are the most soothing and private treatment venues that open onto individual private gardens of succulents and flowering plants. The spa also has four indoor treatment rooms, as well as separate men’s and women’s facilities each offering dressing and vanity facilities, steam room, sauna, and hydro-therapy and cold plunge pools.
Spa Suites: Unique to The Spa at Las Ventanas are the three Spa Suites − offering a “total spa lifestyle.” Guests are immersed in a continuous spa journey within the privacy of a self-contained, ultra-luxurious Spa Suite that features its own state-of-the-art treatment room, spacious living areas and terraces, dedicated butler to see to every need and want, and a uniquely created spa ambiance that includes a walk-in Rainforest Shower hydro experience, infrared sauna, infinity-edge Jacuzzi, iSqueeze Reflexology Boots and organic mini-bar. A personalized agenda of treatments, services and activities, to fulfill the guests’ individual goals and desires, is created and implemented for Spa Suite guests.
