Award-winning resort accepting reservations for accommodations effective Monday, June 8th

Riviera Maya, Mexico – Rosewood Mayakoba, located in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, is excited to announce their reopening on Monday, June 8. The Resort was recently renovated in early 2020 and is situated within a 620-acre, low density preserve where each accommodation from spacious Suites to Private Residences are naturally conducive to distancing for the ultimate in privacy. The safety and well-being of Rosewood Mayakoba’s guests and associates remain the utmost priority and the Resort will continue to implement guidelines set forth by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ Commitment to Care, a comprehensive global health and safety program to ensure the protection of all those who visit. Additionally, guests have an opportunity to option into a donation platform for the Sancus Fountation that benefits local charities including Fundación K’iin Beh, a bi-lingual school and education center for children in Playa Del Carmen that was founded and funded by Rosewood Mayakoba Associates.
Rosewood Mayakoba has been closed since early April but was able to retain all full-time staff members to continue to support the community. “Our mission at the Resort to provide heartfelt hospitality rooted in emotional connectivity has been our beacon during this time of uncertainty. Despite the challenges of the closure, we have created a special bond together taking care of not only the property, but of our people who are the most valuable,” says Daniel Scott, Managing Director and Regional Vice President. “While we are going to have to recalibrate some of our traditional offerings during this initial phase of reopening, Rosewood Mayakoba remains one of the most pristine destinations in Mexico with so much to enjoy and we are ready for and look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to their emerald oasis!”
