“Love is in the Air” – the pinnacle of marriage proposals
Popping the question is an extravagant affair with Rosewood’s over-the-top proposal experience that guarantees a once-in-a-lifetime engagement memory. First, a sky-high, grand statement is broadcast for all to see, with a helicopter circling Victoria Harbour for 120 minutes trailing a giant 20 meters-long banner, imprinted with a personalised “Will you marry me?” or custom message of love. The chartered private helicopter then whisks the couple to an outlying island for an exquisitely romantic dinner by the beach prepared and served by a Rosewood chef and butler on site, followed by an airborne trip back to the hotel for a Harbour corner suite’s stay. Karina Wan, Rosewood’s director of romance, ensures that every moment is meticulously rolled out for maximum romantic impact. The "Love is in the Air" experience starts from HKD680,000, the offer is valid until September 30, 2022.
Elevated in-room dining by HENRY and CHAAT
HENRY American steakhouse and the one Michelin Star CHAAT Indian restaurant present three-course set menus (HKD 1,500 to 1,800 per person) for sweethearts to enjoy an artfully crafted dinner served in-room, backdropped by magnificent night views of Victoria Harbour. With a dedicated waiter at their service, the couple’s dinner starts with a glass of Champagne to toast the occasion, followed by an appetiser and a main course, rounded off with a signature dessert, all bringing a private restaurant experience direct to the guests’ room. Room booking and menu selection is required 48 hours in advance and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sweet indulgence at The Butterfly Room
Thomas Cabrit, Rosewood Hong Kong’s French Executive Pastry Chef, takes romance to new heights with his "Love and Glamour" limited edition Afternoon Tea (HKD998 for two persons), available between 14 February and 14 March. Inspired by the colours of romance, the afternoon tea features Rose and Vanilla Mille-Feuille, Strawberry Chiffon Cake Roll, Red Bean Madeleine and other irresistible pastries for lovers. Guests can uplift their spread by adding a glass of Earl Grey Champagne Cold Brew Tea with Bergamot. Between 11 and 15 February, the experience is also available to savour at home with a takeaway version (HKD858) on offer at the Rosewood Hong Kong online shop.
Gifts with love
Blooms and Blossoms at Rosewood Hong Kong has specially created an exclusive “Hold Me Close” bouquet and the Bloom bucket collection for impressive Valentine’s Day gifting. The resident florist collaborated with a talented local poet and lyricist to create an original love poem that is printed on elegant and sustainable paper wrapping the “Hold Me Close” bouquet, from which dozens of romantic red and pink roses tumble forth.
For a gift of wellness, “Love from Asaya” gift ideas include Sunday Riley “must-have” skincare products, the Votary Nourish Kit, GOA’s bestselling facial serum and moisturiser, and many more thoughtful tokens of love for a special someone’s self-care.
“The Romance Studio” by Blooms and Blooms
Located at the hotel’s main entrance, "The Romance Studio" opens from 4 February until Valentine's Day from 11a.m.to 8 p.m. everyday. Guests can purchase beautifully crafted bouquets, including “My Muse,” “Lovebirds” and “Falling for You.” In addition, Blooms & Blossoms presents the exclusive "Eternal Love" set, featuring a signature Bloom Bucket and a pair of Duo Butterfly diamond earrings from the Weekdays and Weekends | 5 + 2 fine jewellery collection. For handmade treasures, guests can walk in and join a workshop with the residence florist to create a unique bouquet for their loved one.
