Rosewood Hong Kong Online Shop is bursting with a wide array of Chinese New Year treats for gifting to clients and friends or to enjoy at family gatherings. Products range from candy boxes, Chinese New Year hampers, Chinese New Year puddings and patisserie, Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea Sets and more.
In the spirit of giving, for every hamper purchase, Rosewood is donating 5% of the proceeds to support ImpactHK’s array of programmes to aid those experiencing homelessness in Hong Kong.
This year also introduces the exclusive Chinese New Year “A Sense of Place Advent Calendar,” priced at HKD888 - a colourfully festive container of sliding boxes, ingeniously filled with sweet and savoury surprises such as fortune cookies and egg rolls, irresistible cookies and an abundance of exquisite candies.
Rosewood Hong Kong’s annual offering of limited edition Chinese New Year cakes and puddings is also available for online pre-order, with delicious interpretations of the traditional delicacies by Chinese Executive Chef Li Chi Wai including Conpoy Turnip Cake available between 24 and 31 January 2022, and Chinese New Year Pudding from 17 to 31 January 2022.
Enhancing the array of Chinese New Year treats on offer, this year Rosewood Hong Kong has collaborated with local award-winning designer Ruth Chao and her team at Ruth Chao Studio (RCS) to create special Chinese New Year packaging of traditional calligraphy art reimagined with bold modernity.

Chinese New Year at Michelin-recommended The Legacy House
The Legacy House, helmed by Chef Li Chi Wai, celebrates the Chinese New Year by offering a traditional culinary celebration experience in either the main dining room, or a more intimate affair in one of the seven private dining rooms for up to 16 people.
A quintessential Chinese New Year dish designed for sharing includes Fu Gui Chicken, a classic Chinese dish that symbolises fortune and prosperity, priced at HKD1,688 for eight to 10 guests, as well as a decadent Prosperity Poon Choi for HKD4,888 for six diners. Both may either be enjoyed in The Legacy House dining room or pre-ordered from the online shop, available for pick-up from 29 January until 10 February 2022.
Priced at HKD2,380 per person, The Legacy House’s eight-course Chinese New Year Delights menu features the finest and most coveted ingredients of Cantonese cuisine, from Steamed Spotted Grouper Fillet with Matsutake Mushroom and Braised Whole Abalone with Pork Knuckle and Pomelo Pith to the Braised Porcini Noodles with Fish Maw. The menu is available for dine-in guests between 1 and 10 February 2022.

Chinese New Year at Holt’s Café
Throughout the month of February, Holt’s Café presents a celebratory Chinese New Year Brunch Menu (HKD1,088 per person, HKD888 for children six to 12) and a four-course “A Taste of Traditional Canton” Chinese New Year Set Dinner Menu (HKD588 per person.)

Chinese New Year at The Butterfly Room and The Butterfly Patisserie
The Butterfly Room’s distinctively elegant afternoon tea experience receives a Chinese New Year-themed makeover this January and February with two glasses of Champagne Cold Brew Tea (HKD1,998.) The festive bubbly complements a classic afternoon tea spread of tea sandwiches, classic scones and the legendary pastry and confectionary trolleys laden with sweet delights. This year, guests may also choose to take away The Butterfly Room’s Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea Set Hamper to savour at the home or office (HKD858 per set including tea sandwiches, daily elegant surprise, Chinese New Year exclusive pastries, Tahitian Vanilla Millefeuille, Baked Scones, Jams, Clotted Cream and Tea Bags.)
From The Butterfly Patisserie, new Chinese New Year creations such as Tieguanyin Tea & Milk Chocolate Tart (HKD888 for 950g and HKD88 for 120g) and Mandarin Imperial Tartelette (HKD88) are available for celebration festivities.
