To share the joy and best wishes with its guests, Rosewood Hong Kong is going to present one-of-a-kind luxury accommodation, tantalising Chinese New Year cuisines and delightful gifts. This year, Rosewood Hong Kong presents an elegant set of “New Year. A Vision of Hope” red packets and packaging that send the heartfelt blessings through the poetic and vibrant scenery of spring framed by the window.
Meanwhile, following in the footsteps of her father and feng shui master Chow Hon Ming, renowned local feng shui designer Thierry Chow will also curate an array of unique experiences and online content to bring positive energy and good luck to the guests.

The Legacy House at Rosewood Hong Kong is ready to take the celebrations to new levels with the Chinese New Year Pudding, Conpoy turnip cake, luxurious traditional poon choi, Fu Gui Chicken and homemade XO sauce meticulously prepared by Chef Li Chi-wai. Chef Holger of Butterfly Patisserie will also delight guests with creative pastries dedicated to the Chinese New Year.

Spring Festival Stay
Celebrating the Year of the Ox, Rosewood is delighted to present the Spring Festival Stay. From 1 to 28 February, guests can enjoy a complimentary third night stay with every two consecutive nights booked. In addition to the opulent stay and auspicious in-room amenities, guests can also enjoy the sumptuous breakfast in Holt’s Café, K11 Musea e-Voucher, complimentary KLUB 11 Gold Card Membership and exciting shopping privileges.
An additional staycation package enables guests to create joyful moments with their love ones by booking a luxurious stay at Rosewood Hong Kong this February. The package starts from HKD3,950 plus 10% service charge per night, which comes with a HKD500 hotel credit for dining in the restaurants or in room mini bar auspicious in-room amenities and HKD 200 K11 Musea e-Voucher to start a new year of good health, prosperity and happiness! For families, Rosewood Camp also offers a series of Chinese New Year themed workshops running from 13 to 15 February for children aged 4 to 12, with a half-day pass at HKD750 per person plus 10% service charge.
Rosewood Hong Kong is also dedicated to enrich the hotel stay with local discovery experiences. During the Chinese New Year, guests can explore the art of tea-making at Rosewood, where Tea Master Alan Leung will present an experiential Tea Journey for two (HKD888 per person and 10% service charge) served in the Tea Conservatory.
Guided by Alan and “The Route of Chinese Teas” map, guests will sit at a dedicated tea table to experience five exquisite teas. The Tea Master himself will walk guests through the history and nature of each tea, presenting teas in their dry form in order to provide an in-depth understanding of each varietal. The Tea Journey begins with Cold Brew Small Dragon Balls Scented Tea before a pairing of Lobster and Caviar Dumpling and Premium Lion’s Peak Dragon Well Green Tea arrives at the table.
Next, Silver Needle White Tea is partnered with a fragrant and precious Black Truffle and Bamboo Pith Dumpling. Wuyi Mountain Rock Oolong Tea, hailed as one of the ten great Chinese teas, follows this and is exceptional alongside a textural Deep-Fried Taro & Crab Meat Puff. Finally, a delicate and rich tea picked in 1996 arrives in the form of 24-year old Jiancheng Chunjan Dark Tea. This sought-after infusion is perfect with a delicately flavoured Egg Tart with Bird’s Nest. Throughout the experience, guests learn which temperatures are best for steeping their teas and for how long. Specially selected earthenware is presented with each course and guests will acquire the skills to prepare and pour their own brews with finesse. After the journey, each participant will receive a canister of fine tea to take home and enjoy the tea journey. After experiencing the sophisticated workshop, guests can also share it with their loved ones by purchasing a Gift Card, surprising them with the most thoughtful gift.
Rosewood’s signature stay and tantalising culinary offerings will be complemented by our sought-after Asaya wellness concept that allows guests to unwind and relax. Festive Culinary Delights
The Spring Festival is the best time to enjoy a decadent feast with friends and families. At Rosewood Hong Kong, The Legacy House led by Chef Li Chi Wai and the Hong Kong Cafe dining concept Holt’s Café will ring in the new year with mouthwatering celebratory menus and hearty delicacies that impress guests with the impeccable creativity and the unique take on modern cuisine and fine dining.
The Steamed Minced Fish Dumplings in the Legacy House lunch menu is an elevated version of the classic Shunde minced fish soup. The fresh and sweet fillings wrapped in the soft skin offer a burst of flavours in one bite. The deep fried milk custard, another signature Shunde dish, is crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. This seemingly simple yet irresistible dish demands impeccable culinary techniques and skills that Chef Li and his team take pride in.
The starter Roasted Goose Liver with Pork Belly and Mushroom in the dinner menu is a Cantonese classic that indulges diners in the traditional, authentic flavours to be shared with friends and families. The Braised Pomelo Pith and Sea Cucumber in Abalone Sauce is also a popular and traditional choice during the festive season.
Pomelo pith and sea cucumber need to be handled and prepared carefully before they are braised in flavour-packed broth and form a delectable duo. The Steamed Rice Dumplings with Gold Foil, Bird’s Nest and Rock Rice is a sophisticated vegan dish that promises a feast for the eyes and taste buds, representing a prosperous year ahead.
On the other hand, The Legacy House will also offer an enticing menu of Chinese New Year dim sums and dishes, including “The Three Lucky Stars”—handmade Steamed Lobster Tricolour Dumplings that feature fresh and delicious local lobsters. Other auspicious dishes reimagined Chef Li also include “The New Year of Fortune” - Wok-fried Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle and Oat, a tasty yet light creation with the clever use of oat; and “A Felicitous Start” - Braised Oyster and Fish Curd in Abalone Sauce that brings together the techniques of steaming, frying and braising, perfectly showcasing the chef’s creativity.
Additionally, The Legacy House is presenting the Fu Gui Chicken (HKD1,388) for Chinese New Year at home celebration, the special recipe is enriched with a concentrated and precious fillingincluding crabmeat, conpoy, Matsutake mushroom, white fungus, Pleurotus eryngii and much more.
The Legacy House’s special takeaway menu will also promise a truly blissful Chinese New Year gathering. The menu includes Spicy Marinated Pork Knuckles, Marinated Pomelo Pith, Braised Prawns with Tomato Sauce, Roasted Peking Duck (whole) with a second course Wok-Fried Minced Duck with Lettuce Wrap, Honey Glazed Barbecued Pork (8 pieces), Pan-Fried Dace Fish (1 piece), Wok-fried Wagyu Beef with Black Truffle and Oat, Stewed Wild Water Bamboo Shoots with Dried Scallops and Dried Shrimps, and Stir-Fried Fish Noodles.
