About Shinas Shahida, Executive Pastry Chef of Rosewood Munich
With an impressive background in patisserie, Shinas Shahida has worked in various international restaurants and hotels. His passion lies in combining classical techniques with a modern, progressive twist. He also focuses on light and flavorful ingredients that possess a natural sweetness. Shinas began his career in 2015 as Chef de Partie at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant La Vie in Osnabrück. He also worked at the two-Michelin-starred patisserie-restaurant Coda Dessert Dining in Berlin and was most recently part of the opening team at Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor as Pastry Chef. With great care and joy, he creates extraordinary and sophisticated desserts exclusively for Rosewood Munich. As Executive Pastry Chef, Shinas has the opportunity to showcase his passion for making exceptional pastries with low sugar and dye content. His pastry style is simple and elegant, and he brings a fresh perspective to dessert creations by combining classic craftsmanship with innovative techniques. Shinas humbly considers himself a newcomer in this sweet world and constantly seeks knowledge from everyone he meets.
"Viktor & Rolf. Fashion Statements" at Kunsthalle München
Kunsthalle München presents the first major retrospective of the Dutch designer duo Viktor&Rolf in Germany. With breathtaking virtuosity, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have been exploring the boundaries between couture and art for over 30 years. The exhibition was organized by Kunsthalle München and curated by Thierry-Maxime Loriot in collaboration with Maison Viktor&Rolf and L’Oréal Luxe.
