(SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MEXICO) — Rosewood San Miguel de Allende introduces Alchemy of Sleep, part of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ global collection of new and immersive retreats designed to promote rest through sleep-inducing treatments, movement-driven activities, and special amenities. Dedicated to those setting intentions for profound change in the new year, the thoughtfully crafted program supports the renewal of the body and longevity to come.
With a holistic approach to sleep, Rosewood’s Alchemy of Sleep stays address a variety of practices that require attention, such as nutrition, movement, and mindfulness, presenting a mix of treatments and experiences, expert consultations, and classes that ensure each guest finds skills to incorporate into their everyday lives. Helping guests shift attention outward and find ways to be more present, the escapes feature bespoke ‘AWE’ moments that establish a self-transcendent sense of wonderment.

In keeping with Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, wherein the identity and offerings of each property are inspired by its destination, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende’s Alchemy of Sleep experience reflects local wellness customs and embraces the unique natural surroundings.
Treatments are inspired by the Otomi civilization, an ancient and indigenous culture of the region that pre-dates the Aztec people. The Otomi maintained an exceptional knowledge of astronomy and in particular the connection between astrophysical and herbal healing. Rosewood San Miguel de Allende’s Dreamscapes programming pays homage to Otomi’s heritage of lunar mysticism and its emphasis on harnessing the power of nature’s cyclical energy to improve physical and mental strength.
