Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London has been awarded No.41 at The World’s 50 Best Bars Awards 2023, announced in Singapore on Tuesday 17th October. Scarfes Bar, led by Area Director of Bars Martin Siska and Head of Mixology Yann Bouvignies for seven years, celebrated their monumental ten-year anniversary this year. The milestone follows the launch of their new menu ‘10’, and their global bar tour to ten of the world’s best bars across ten of the most famous cities.
The World’s 50 Best Bars is an annual list that celebrates the best of the international drinks industry, providing an annual ranking of bars voted by 680 drinks experts, including bartenders, consultants, drinks writers, and cocktail specialists from around the world, with a 50/50 gender balance. The voting criteria allow the panellists to vote far and wide, based on the experiences they have had of the bars.
Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London is an award-winning bar inspired by the atmosphere of a drawing room, with live jazz music playing each day from a host of talented performers evoking a convivial and sophisticated yet intimate atmosphere and located a short distance from London’s Covent Garden. The bar is named after the renowned British artist and caricaturist Gerald Scarfe, whose artwork adorns the walls of the bar and is encompassed within the creative cocktail menus.
