SCARFES BAR PARTNERS WITH DARKSIDE, HONG KONG, TO CONTINUE ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY GLOBAL BAR TOUR

March 2023 - This March, world-renowned Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London will be continuing its global bar tour, partnering with one of ‘Asia’s 50 Best Bars’ DarkSide at Rosewood Hong Kong from March 21–23 to celebrate its 10th anniversary and preview its brand-new menu, in tandem with Rosewood Hong Kong marking its fourth anniversary. Scarfes Bar will be completely transforming DarkSide, bringing with them their very own prints of their iconic wall panels with Gerald Scarfe’s caricatures, their resident jazz performers Nick and Kitty, and their exclusive playing cards to use as coasters, for a completely immersive experience, allowing guests to see first-hand the award-winning Scarfes Bar hospitality.
Rosewood Hong Kong will also be commemorating its fourth anniversary during the takeover and celebrating the cultural community that surrounds it with the “Rosewood Artistry” curated series of immersive experiences. Rosewood Hong Kong will be partnering with some of the most influential names within the worlds of gastronomy and luxury, delivering an exciting programme of stay and dining experiences, a spectacular generative digital art installation and masterclass which will run throughout Art Basel Hong Kong from 21st to 25th March.
Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London has kicked off its very first global bar tour to celebrate its much-anticipated 10th-anniversary celebrations. The five-month bar tour will take the team across the world to 10 different iconic destinations and 10 of the world’s best bars as well as their own bar in London. The tour is the bar’s biggest activation to date and will see the team showcase their mixology and five-star hospitality across the world to celebrate the 10 years of history and legacy the bar is renowned for. The Scarfes Bar global takeovers will continue around the world, visiting a host of well-known cities and renowned bars with their 10th anniversary bespoke menu. Scarfe's team will also be visiting the likes of Vesper Bar in Bangkok, Sora in Cambodia, as well as Rome, Norway and New York.
Scarfes Bar, located a stone's throw away from Covent Garden, is named after the renowned British artist and caricaturist Gerald Scarfe whose original artwork adorns the walls and evokes a convivial atmosphere akin to a sophisticated gentleman’s club. Its creative drinks menu ‘Off the Wall’ merges both mixology and craftsmanship lifting the bar’s iconic caricatures quite literally off the canvas and onto the table for an unrivaled and one-of-a-kind cocktail experience.
