Rosewood London celebrates its milestone 10-year anniversary campaign, Rosewood London X, by welcoming renowned food visionary, Imogen Kwok, to reimagine Mirror Room’s dining concept in partnership with Ruinart.
Over the last decade, the Mirror Room has encapsulated fine dining and art with its contemporary Art Afternoon Tea, inspired by the ever-changing cultural landscape in London. This partnership represents the next chapter of artful evening dining within this space.
Kwok has a colourful and well-regarded portfolio, establishing herself in the fine dining realm at Eleven Madison Park prior to evolving her practice through design and fashion collaborations with houses such as LOEWE and Hermès. She works across the intersection of culture, design and cuisine in collaboration with fashion houses, art galleries and design studios, and is known for bringing artistic practice to culinary experiences with a style defined by precision and focus on meticulous detail, minimalist composition, and thoughtful balance of textures. Creating visually striking still lifes out of food, Imogen blends the boundaries between sculptural installations and dining.
She will bring her creative vision to life through an elevated culinary experience in the Mirror Room, harmoniously complemented by Ruinart, a long-time companion of Rosewood London, sharing a belief in the power of art to transform, connect, and enlighten.
Her carefully curated tasting menu will celebrate Rosewood London’s 10th anniversary, drawing design inspiration from the Mirror Room’s artistry, with themes around light, reflection, geometrical structures, refined elegance, and Rosewood London’s timelessness. The six-course menu will include Champagne pairings by Ruinart. Menu highlights will include ‘peanut pearls’ with a glass of R de Ruinart Champagne; pork terrine with Kwok’s signature radishes accompanied with a glass of Ruinart Rosé; red mullet with fennel and finger lime with a glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc; and a pear and cardamom fruit tart.
Guests can enjoy Kwok’s thoughtfully curated menu every Wednesday - Saturday from 10th October until the end of March 2024, Ruinart Tasting Menu - £205 per person / Tasting Menu - £115 per person (bookings only).
The residency is set to be an indulgence in refined craftsmanship and innovative dining as part of the next movement of art-inspired dining at Rosewood London.
Rosewood London X is a series of exciting and exclusive partnerships to celebrate the anniversary and include renowned British designer Anya Hindmarch collaborating with the Pie Room, the transformation of the hotel's courtyard into the Scottish Highlands with Macallan whisky and a festive collaboration with historic British jewellery brand Garrard.
