Holborn Dining Room
Located in the heart of Holborn, moments away from Covent Garden, Holborn Dining Room is a grand, British brasserie within the meticulously restored, ultra-luxury hotel, Rosewood London. Previously the East Banking Hall of Pearl Assurance, Holborn Dining Room serves seasonal, locally sourced British cuisine with a modern twist.
The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is home to the Gin Bar featuring over 500 gins, and The Pie Room.
Holborn Dining Room features a selection of carefully curated dishes of the best seasonal produce in the UK. The à la carte lunch and dinner menus are updated seasonally and feature an array of signature British dishes as well as pastry specialities including the curried mutton pie and Welly Wednesday special, beef wellington, served only on Wednesdays.
The Gin Bar
Holborn Dining Room features the Gin Bar offering London’s largest collection of Gin. The Gin Bar features over 500 Gins and 20 tonics, which are perfectly paired in the Gin Book offering over 10,000 varieties of G&T’s as well as gin-based cocktails. The bar further offers the dining counter (seating 35) ideal for private events, each topped with aged copper and patina brass.
The Pie Room
Officially opening in March 2018, ‘The Pie Room’ at Holborn Dining Room is a one-stop destination dedicated to one of Britain’s most iconic dishes. ‘The Pie Room’ at Holborn Dining Room is a treasure trove of savoury delicacies, and somewhere for every food-lover to swing by and take away one of the beautifully intricate pastry creations. Acting as an extension to the kitchen, customers are able to watch the restaurant’s chefs at work as they craft offerings such as pork pies, and impressive beef wellingtons by hand every day.
The Pie Room is available as a private dining room, Monday to Friday from 6:30 p.m. onwards, and weekends from 12:30 p.m. onwards., where guests will be able to enjoy a 3-course menu. Seats up to 10 guests.
The Pie Room also sells fresh pies, Tuesday to Thursday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., where passers-by are able to pop into The Pie Room from High Holborn and grab a "pie to-go" via the handy street-side hatch.
The Terrace
Transformed by award-winning landscape designer Luciano Giubbilei, The Terrace enables guests to savour unique food and drink offerings in a luxurious garden setting. The year-round garden terrace offers guests constantly evolving dining and drinking experiences, inspired by luxury partnerships, delivering a pop-up experience that rotates throughout the year. Surrounded by lush greenery, The Terrace evokes the design of a quintessential English garden with seasonal flowering plants in textural woven willow baskets highlighting the British craft heritage. Classically pruned London Plane Trees form the overhead greenery and soft glow lighting offers a subtle backdrop enhancing The Terrace’s privacy and intimacy.
Scarfes Bar
Scarfes Bar, named after the renowned British artist and caricaturist Gerald Scarfe whose original artwork adorns the walls, evokes a convivial atmosphere akin to a sophisticated gentleman’s club. The creative menu of cocktails, and complimentary live jazz. Scarfes Bar is a must-visit, vibrant entertainment destination.
Each spring, Scarfes Bar launches a new cocktail menu, featuring drinks inspired by the satirical work of the bar’s namesake: Gerald Scarfe.
Mirror Room
The stunning Mirror Room, tucked away in the heart of Rosewood London offers an innovative and decadent afternoon tea. The tradition of British tea is taken to new heights with the opulent jewel box design and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Sample some of the world's rarest teas in the beautiful surrounds of the Mirror Room with our Tea Sommelier, Shane Cox, equipped with expert knowledge and his fine tea menu.
Art Afternoon Tea
Rosewood London offers a unique insight into the works of some of the world’s most renowned artists, with many pieces exhibited throughout the hotel itself. Our Art Afternoon Tea reflects our dedication to the industry and is inspired by London’s vibrant art scene. The concept and artistic theme rotate every several months, showcasing an evolving collection of different styles and artists, offering our guests a consistently refreshing and new experience. Our art-inspired afternoon tea includes a selection of mouth-watering finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and loose-leaf teas, accompanied by art-influenced pastries, created by Executive Pastry Chef, Mark Perkins, and has earned the award for Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea in the United Kingdom for two consecutive years. Mark and his talented team create concepts, drawing inspiration from the distinctive styles of Cubism, Pop Art and more. During this dining experience, guests will be taken on a culinary journey through these renowned styles, sampling a selection of expertly made pastries inspired by the most iconic works from Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Roy Lichtenstein to Yayoi Kusama.
