Ready to hit the Tuscan coast to immerse yourself in a different wine experience? Tenuta Prima Pietra's vineyard is the highest along the Tuscan Coast, at 450 meters above sea level, in Riparbella - Pisa.
The estate unfurls across a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and consists of 200 hectares, 11 of which are under vine – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot – while the other land is covered in woods.
Guests may choose between the following wine experiences:
- Classic Tour: our wine experts will take you through the whole process of wine making from vine to wine. The tour starts with a walk in the vineyards, followed by a visit to our stunning ageing cellar. After the tour, taste four different wines, including two old vintages of Prima Pietra. Upon request we offer Tuscan cheeses served with fresh bread, our superb extra virgin olive oil and honey.
- Great Vertical: this unforgettable activity includes a tasting of four different vintages of Prima Pietra, from the oldest to the newest released on the market. As a grand finale, you will have the unique opportunity to taste two vintages of our Limited Edition Permassimo. Wines will be served with a selection of Tuscan cheeses.
- The Wine Experience will take you through a journey along the rolling hills of the region, from the Tuscan Coast where the SuperTuscan is at its best, to the more historical Montalcino where the Sangiovese Grosso takes centre stage. You will taste six of our wines, sampled alongside a fine selection of Tuscan cheeses, fresh bread, our homemade extra virgin olive oil and honey.
