Narongrit Kaewsuwan, known to his friends and colleagues as Chef Oh, is an accomplished Executive Chef with extensive experience in the culinary industry. He currently oversees all four distinct restaurants and bars at Rosewood Bangkok, which include Nan Bei, an authentic Chinese restaurant; Lakorn European Brasserie, an all-day dining venue serving Western classics and Asian favorites; the poolside G&O café with a menu crafted from locally sourced and organic produce; and Lennon’s rooftop speakeasy bar. This role is a natural extension of his passion for creating exceptional dining experiences using ingredients from local organic farms, an interest aligned with Rosewood’s Partners in Provenance philosophy of supporting artisanal food suppliers to create diverse and seasonal menus.
Chef Oh began his journey with Rosewood Bangkok as part of the pre-opening team in 2018. He steadily worked his way up to Executive Sous Chef before being promoted to his current position as Executive Chef. Prior to his tenure at Rosewood Bangkok, Chef Oh was also involved in the pre-opening teams at Rosewood Phuket in Thailand and Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the latter where his interest was first piqued by the unique positioning of Rosewood as an ultra-luxury brand guided by the distinctive characteristics of each locality.
With a strong foundation in kitchen operations, banqueting, and SOP management, Chef Oh continues to make a significant impact on the culinary world. He is dedicated to maintaining high food quality standards, implementing HACCP protocols, and delivering memorable dining experiences. This dedication is a testament to his expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.
