Nassau, The Bahamas (May 29, 2024) – Rosewood Baha Mar – a five-star, oceanfront retreat set on the pristine white sands of Nassau’s Cable Beach – beckons summer visitors with an alluring calendar of new experiences to pass the sweet summer days and nights:
The glamor and charm of the South of France aren’t far away at Tingum on the Sand, Rosewood’s beachfront dining oasis. This July, Tingum becomes Boulud Beach at Tingum on the Sand as renowned Chef Daniel Boulud and Executive Chef Antoine Baillargeon of Café Boulud The Bahamas bring their French influence to Cable Beach. Available July 1-31, 2024, Boulud Beach offers fresh, light fare with a coastal focus. The menu includes a classic Salade Niçoise featuring tuna, frisée lettuce, potatoes, green beans, anchovies, and olives. Savor a taste of the sea with a Lobster Roll served on house made brioche with lettuce and crispy vegetables or Grilled Snapper with corn, zucchini, and chorizo. Starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday, Boulud Beach is offering a Sunset Social Hour complete with light wines, cheese and charcuterie, and a seafood tower to enjoy as the sun sinks below the horizon. Seating for Boulud Beach at Tingum on the Sand is based on a first come, first served basis. For more information, visit Tingum on the Sand on Rosewood Baha Mar’s website.
The tropical gardens that enclose Rosewood Baha Mar are just as beautiful under the moonlight as they are by day. Guests are invited to gather under the Capricorn Full Moon on June 21, 2024, 7:30-8:30 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind yoga session including a sequence of Chandra Namaskar, meaning Moon Salutations. The Full Moon session also includes a refreshing visualization meditation where yogis focus on aligning their energy with the moon's lunar phase. The full moon on Sagittarius ignites a sense of optimism and adventure. Availability for this event is limited.
Yogis looking for more opportunities to flow during their stay can also participate in Rosewood Baha Mar’s weekly Flamingo Yoga on Sundays, 8-9 a.m.
Both intimate yoga sessions take place in the Rosewood Garden and cost $80 per person.
Rosewood Baha Mar’s In the Kitchen cooking classes return with a chef-led experience on Sunday, July 21 with Café Boulud The Bahamas Executive Chef Antoine Baillargeon and a second class on Sunday, August 4 with Costa Chef de Cuisine Juan Meza. During the three-hour culinary immersion, guests can brush up on their knife skills, plating, and other cooking techniques while preparing a gourmet dinner under the guidance of Rosewood’s talented chefs. The experience, which takes place from 6-9 p.m. on both dates, is limited to 18 guests per class and costs $225 per person. Guests can reserve their spot by contacting bahamar.concierge@rosewoodhotels.com.
