The culinary team, Executive Chef Siddharth Krishna and Chef de Cuisine Juan Meza, bring the taste of Mexican coastal dishes from the tropics of The Bahamas to the iconic kitchen of The Mansion Restaurant

NASSAU, The Bahamas, April 27, 2022 -- Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the culinary team from Rosewood Baha Mar’s Costa Restaurant at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek May 5-7. Executive Chef Siddharth Krishna and Chef de Cuisine Juan Meza curate tasting and cocktail menus with a fusion of flavors from the Bahamas and Meza’s home country, Mexico.
“We are very excited to present Chef Meza’s inventive dishes to Dallasites. At Costa, he combines the warmth and magic of his Mexican culture with fresh, local Bahamian ingredients to create dishes offering boldness of flavor that is balanced by fresh herbs and zesty citrus notes,” says Executive Chef Siddharth Krishna from Rosewood Baha Mar.
“Our goal is to create moments of discovery and delight for guests at The Mansion Restaurant over this Cinco de Mayo weekend and introduce Costa to those that may not be as familiar with Rosewood Baha Mar’s restaurants in The Bahamas,” adds Krishna.
The menu features not only Costa Restaurant favorites like the scallop ceviche with charred cucumber and the lobster tacos but hallmarks from The Mansion Restaurant’s seasonal tasting menu like Japanese A5 Wagyu Striploin or the foie gras brûlée. Guests can select between a five-course ($90 per person) or seven-course ($130 per person) tasting menu with optional wine pairings at an additional cost.

Rosewood Baha Mar’s Costa Restaurant Pops Up from The Bahamas
Those that choose to celebrate in The Mansion Bar, can toast the holiday with a selection of cocktails created by mixologists from the culinary team at Rosewood Baha Mar. The Cinco de Mayo bar menu features Campante mezcal inspired drinks with influences of hibiscus, bergamot and pineapple matched with Chef Meza’s favorite appetizers to share.
This specialty tasting menu will be available during dinner at The Mansion Restaurant Thursday – Saturday from 6pm – 9:30pm and the bar menu will be available Thursday (3-11pm) and Friday-Saturday from Noon – 1 am.
