The Bahamas hotel will reopen with new service standards and a complimentary Covid-19 testing facility for guests
March 01, 2021
Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas, is delighted to announce it will reopen its doors on 4 March 2021 to welcome guests for a new season. The hotel has been working diligently during its closure to develop ‘The New Exceptional’, Rosewood Baha Mar’s new sequence of service standards. With testing of vital importance to travel in 2021, the hotel has also launched a dedicated on-property testing centre, allowing guests to receive complimentary COVID-19 Antigen and when required, RT-PCR tests.
The hotel’s testing initiative is a hassle-free option for the antigen tests required by the Bahamian authorities five days after arrival in The Bahamas, and for those who require a negative test in advance of their return home. The results are returned within 30 minutes and the on-site facility means guests can continue to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the hotel, allowing the holiday to remain as relaxed as possible.
Additionally, Rosewood Baha Mar’s ‘The New Exceptional’ programme ensures staff are trained to the highest level, aligned with the new health landscape and with expert safety precautions at the forefront, while maintaining the impeccable and effortless service standards guests expect from the property. In addition, and in line with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ new Commitment to Care programme, Rosewood Baha Mar has introduced heightened hygiene protocols, further to the thorough cleaning policies already practiced. The new programme is in compliance with partners Ecolab and Diversey, and created with guidance by international health experts, including the World Health Organization (WHO).
Examples of new policies include non-contact temperature checks upon arrival, thorough additional cleaning and disinfecting of common touch points, and the frequency cleaning
increase of all air filters and air conditioning systems. The resort will offer these and other intensified cleanliness measures, as well as bespoke services to ensure guests peace of mind and comfort during their stay, including contactless in-room dining options, tailored housekeeping offerings, and care kits including disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer and face masks.
With peace of mind guaranteed, Rosewood Baha Mar guests can also look forward to discovering the wider Baha Mar’s new experiences for the 2021 season. These include Baha Bay Beach Club and Baha Bay, an all-new aquatic experience; an 18-hole miniature golf course ‘Mini Blue’; new retail stores including Tory Burch, Mont Blanc and Christian Louboutin, as well as Sugar Factory, which have turned sweets into the latest designer accessory.
Set on the pristine white sands of Nassau's Cable Beach, Rosewood Baha Mar offers the ultimate destination for a luxurious Caribbean getaway. The sophisticated beach resort offers a range of accommodations including 230 guestrooms, suites and oceanside villas that epitomise Caribbean luxury. With a style evocative of a modern Bahamian estate, the interiors at Rosewood Baha Mar are infused with the carefree spirit of seaside living, elegantly accessorized with refined Bahamian art and décor.
