LOST REMEDIES MENU: Taking inspiration from Christopher Columbus’ visit to the islands, the Lost Remedies menu features traditional healing remedies utilizing indigenous plants, roots, and leaves thoughtfully and sustainably sourced from the islands. The local culture still strongly believes in the many medicinal benefits of these ingredients and their curative powers, utilizing herbs and plants to make potent teas and ointments. The tradition of ‘bush medicine’ is still revered today and is combined with modern products and expertise at Sense Spa to offer a truly bespoke spa experience.
SENSE JOURNEYS: A series of unique experiences, Sense Journeys are designed to bring guests to a serene state of well-being by nurturing both body and mind. Each journey combines healthy nutrition and revitalizing seasonal beverages with traditional massage therapies and sensory experiences. The Sense of Art Journey features a Bahamian art tour and expressive art experience, combined with a custom intuitive massage.
BESPOKE EXPERIENCES: In the spa’s tranquil setting, guests have the opportunity to realize optimum well-being and relaxation. The spa’s team of specialists create a tailored spa experience for each guest which fulfills their mental and physical treatment requirements. Intuitive massage therapies use locally sourced aromatherapy oils, hot stones and an array of massage techniques to create a personalized experience tailored to each guest’s needs.
HEALING RITUALS: With innovative healing rituals unique to The Bahamas, Sense Spa Baha Mar offers bespoke spa experiences grounded in the islands’ heritage. Inspired by The Ancient Lucayan ‘People of the Islands’, who used native roots to heal injuries and restore vitality, guests are treated to Sense Spa Baha Mar’s foot ritual ceremony. The ritual utilizes traditional ingredients and is infused with the potent local bush tea, preparing guests for their tailored treatments.
TREATMENT ROOMS & SALON SERVICES: Sense spa offers one couple’s treatment room, three single treatment rooms and two signature spa suites including garden treatment rooms opening onto an abundance of vibrant foliage. As well as a menu of more than 22 specialized spa treatments, Sense spa offers salon services with complimentary consultations, including blowouts, waxing, and manicure and pedicure treatments.
