Rosewood Washington, D.C., the luxurious urban retreat located in the heart of Georgetown, is pleased to announce that it has been named the #2 hotel in Washington, D.C. by Condé Nast Traveler’s 33rd annual Readers’ Choice Awards. In addition to the local list, the property also ranked seventh in the category of ‘Top 10 Hotels in the United States’ and twentieth in the category of ‘Best Hotels in the World,’ demonstrating its incredible positioning within the national and international hospitality landscapes. Recognizing the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, airports and cruise lines, the prestigious awards are distributed per the insights of Condé Nast Traveler readers worldwide, who this year submitted a record-breaking number of responses rating their respective travel experiences. Following the unveiling of a partial renovation in 2019, 2020 marks Rosewood Washington, D.C.’s first year being honored by the program and speaks to the hotel’s unwavering commitment to providing guests with the highest quality offerings and services.
“We are so honored to not only be recognized as one of the top hotels in the city and country, but as one of the top hotels in the world,” said Gabor L. Vida, managing director of Rosewood Washington, D.C. “Bestowed by the distinguished readers of Condé Nast Traveler, these incredible accolades are a testament to the successful launch of our new public spaces and dining concepts last year, as well as the dedication of our associates to providing an unparalleled hospitality experience. We thank our loyal guests for their support and look forward to welcoming both new and returning visitors to Rosewood Washington, D.C. soon!”
Ideally situated along the historic C&O Canal in close proximity to many of the city’s acclaimed attractions, Rosewood Washington, D.C. is a top gathering place for visiting guests and the local community alike. Featuring distinctive dining outlets by Wolfgang Puck, including CUT D.C., an exciting evolution of Puck’s signature CUT concept, and CUT Above, a sophisticated rooftop lounge, the hotel has established itself as a dining destination in its own right. Additional amenities and recreational offerings include an indoor-outdoor rooftop pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an inviting library living room. Rounding out the hotel’s 55 luxurious accommodations are six one-of-a-kind townhouses, which are set to debut later this year and will provide an entirely private and personalized residential experience unavailable elsewhere in the city.
