Tony joins Rosewood Washington, D.C. with an extensive background in luxury hospitality both domestically and internationally. He began in the food and beverage space, working as a restaurant manager in his home country of Australia. From there he grew in the ranks and worked as a leader in F&B for hotel brands including Starwood and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Australia, London, and the U.S. His most recent role was a successful tenure at another notable Rosewood property – The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York City.
During his time at The Carlyle, Tony began as Director of Food and Beverage at The Carlyle, where he was a key figure in the re-imagination of the hotel’s culinary experiences, including the introduction of Dowling's and the ongoing success of Bemelman’s Bar and Cafe Carlyle. He was then promoted to Hotel Manager, where his leadership and commitment to excellence were instrumental in achieving key milestones and accolades for the property, including being featured on the 2024 list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels and receiving two MICHELIN Guide Key Hotels.
