PRESS RELEASES
October 06, 2022
New York, NY – October 6, 2022 – The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with sleepwear brand, Sleepy Jones. Keeping The Carlyle’s timeless identity in mind, each pajama set is hand-embroidered in New York City displaying The Carlyle crest on the pocket to create a classic pair of black and white pajamas with an Upper East Side flair.
The two brands are honored to launch the collaboration in conjunction with actress, comedian and Upper East Side native, Jill Kargman. Photographed by Marsha Bernstein, Kargman brings the pajamas to life in a series of whimsical images shot throughout the hotel that will be featured in the launch campaign to promote the new partnership.
“Ever since I did my heavy metal cabaret show at Café Carlyle, the hotel has had a special place in my heart. I also have the blood pressure of a dead body – 86/60 – and love sleep and therefore PJs, and this Sleepy Jones x The Carlyle collab is a match made in NYC heaven,” said Jill Kargman. “Both brands are classic yet quirky which is what we were going for in the campaign shoot,” added Kargman.
The Sleepy Jones x The Carlyle pajamas are available for both women and men and can be purchased in the Sleepy Jones store on Madison Avenue or website, as well as in person at The Carlyle. Each pajama set retails for $350, plus tax.
