Rosewood Miramar Beach honored among the world’s ultimate travel experiences
July 09, 2020
Rosewood Miramar Beach, Southern California’s most luxurious oceanfront resort, is pleased to announce that it has been honored by Travel + Leisure’s 2020 World’s Best awards in the “Top Resort Hotels in California” and “Resorts in the U.S. That Are Perfect for Families” categories, marking the first year the resort has received recognition as part of the annual awards list following its opening in March 2019. Based on the firsthand experiences and reviews of Travel + Leisure’s sophisticated readers, Rosewood Miramar Beach is featured as one of the top 15 resorts in California and one of the top 25 family-friendly resorts in the United States. The full list of 2020 World’s Best can be found here.
“We are incredibly honored to receive such a prestigious accolade from the distinguished readers of Travel + Leisure,” said Rick Fidel, resort manager at Rosewood Miramar Beach. “This latest achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication seen by every member of the team at Rosewood Miramar Beach and we are proud to receive this recognition as we welcome guests back to our safe and relaxing resort.”
Situated in picturesque Montecito, Rosewood Miramar Beach embraces Rosewood’s guiding A Sense of Place philosophy, wherein each location’s history, culture and sensibilities are woven into all aspects of the property, at every turn. The resort’s residential design draws inspiration from the grand estates of the surrounding area, creating an atmosphere similar to that of a private home with unparalleled guest service and unique experiences constantly on offer. Boasting 161 ultra-luxury accommodations in addition to an array of inspired amenities, including six distinct dining venues, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness center, high-end onsite retail experiences, two artfully designed swimming pools and fully-serviced beach access, Rosewood Miramar Beach was quickly established as a discerning destination for locals and travelers worldwide. This honor comes in the resort’s first year of eligibility to be included on the list following its opening in March 2019 and is the latest accolade received following inclusion on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2020 Hot List, recognition of Caruso’s in Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards and a Five-Star distinction from Forbes Travel Guide for Sense, A Rosewood Spa.
The World’s Best Awards are determined by a survey developed by the editors of Travel + Leisure, in association with research firm M&RR. For four months, readers were invited to participate through Travel + Leisure magazine, T+L tablet editions, newsletters, social media and on Travel + Leisure’s website. Respondents were asked to rate a wide range of hospitality brands on several characteristics. For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor and the final scores are indexed averages of these responses.
