Surrounded by wood-paneled walls, novel-filled bookshelves, vintage seating, and an eclectic art collection, the handsome library-inspired bar, The Manor Bar is a moody, secluded, and lively space where cocktails celebrate literary works, featuring iconic characters, diverse authors, and notable anecdotes. The menu, in its third iteration, draws inspiration from literature and uses cocktails as a vessel to share stories and inspire conversation.

Novels serve as a means of escape. Where one is captivated by the interplay of love, conflict, desire, adversity, and triumph involving the protagonist and antagonist. Amidst the shadows of these tales, the role of the villain is one often uncelebrated. In Volume III of the Chronicles of Cocktails, we delve into the depth of literature’s most jaw-dropping creatures, criminals, and terrors. From colors to layers, flavors to garnishes, each facet takes sensational cues from the actions these wrongdoers played in historical works. At The Manor Bar, we do not condone villain’s devious behaviors; instead, we recognize the balance between the forces of good and evil.

The Mastermind Behind It All

Director of Bars Sam Penton

 Since joining the Rosewood Miramar Beach team in 2023, Sam has overseen the cocktail program across the resort's seven unique dining establishments, including The Manor Bar. At the bar, Sam spearheads both the cocktail and spirits program as well as works alongside the service team to present the bar's innovative cocktails in a timeless setting. Sam's latest achievement is releasing Volume III of the Chronicles of Cocktails, The Manor Bar’s literary-inspired seasonally driven cocktail list.
