The Resort’s New Wellness and Recreational Offerings Immerse Guests in the Buoyant Energy of St. Barth

Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, one of the island’s most iconic retreats which has officially reopened following a four-year, resort-wide reimagination, is pleased to unveil Sense®, A Rosewood Spa, the destination’s largest dedicated wellness facility. Helmed by newly appointed Spa Manager Fanny Martin, Sense Spa offers guests a sanctuary of simplicity and purity, fusing the island’s traditional approach to health and healing with the latest technological advancements for exceptional wellness experiences.
Located between the beach and the hillside, the new Sense Spa incorporates its natural surroundings both in its design and offerings for a uniquely immersive journey from start to finish. Guests are immediately transported to an oasis of serenity upon arrival to the spa’s refined reception area, an aura that continues across the facility’s features four treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, hydrotherapy room and adults-only pool. Sense Spa is further equipped with a state-of-the-art gym using Panatta equipment, as well as a blow-dry bar, nail salon and a full-service tennis facility, open for day and night play either with a professional tennis coach or at leisure. Leveraging St. Barth’s natural resources, Sense Spa’s inspired menu has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the island’s rich bounties and highlight the resort’s overall commitment to living in harmony with its environment, further exemplifying the resort’s A Sense of Place® philosophy that seeks to immerse guests in the destination. To ensure a meaningful experience with the most optimal results, the array of nurturing and restorative treatments on offer further combine age-old practices unique to the local community with cutting-edge techniques and amenity lines. All of the featured product lines are aligned with Rosewood Le Guanahani’s sustainable approach and include Haeckels, EviDens de Beauté, Puru and Soleil Toujour.
Among the spa’s offerings, guests will find a selection of carefully curated Lost Remedies inspired by the Caribbean’s oldest settlers. Highlights include the Return to Balance ritual, a balancing body treatment featuring hot and cold compresses and a refreshing salt foot soak infused with corossol leaves and Indian wood balm oil, both widely used in the islands for their cooling properties. Using a holistic approach, this treatment is designed to release blocked energy, relax the muscles and improve overall health and skin wellness. Equally rooted in the ancestral techniques of the island, The Ouanalao Ritual invites guests to achieve deep relaxation. The treatment begins with a warm foot bath and exfoliation utilizing lemon verbena, tamarind pulp and willow bark, whose salicylic powder removes dead skin cells, followed by a soothing facial cleanse and massage using coconut oil and Soursop to relieve tension and congestion.
Also on offer are a selection of Sense Journeys, which are all-encompassing, immersive experiences that facilitate an even deeper introduction between guests and the destination. The “Le Morne” Sense Spa Journey is a standout wellness experience that begins with a stroll through the ecosystem at the Morne Reserve, a quiet place for guests to experience the grandeur of the island’s nature and sea landscape.
