A fabulous weekend focused around a friendly Stableford competition over two days and 36 holes of golf.
Open to just 26 pairings, the event is geared to golfers of all levels. For golf enthusiasts, two days of spring golf on the renowned and refreshed Cape Kidnappers course may be enticement enough. But add to this Chef James Honore’s ultimate finale dinner on Saturday 12th of October with optional New Zealand wine pairings and luxury lodge accommodation, and the scene is set for a memorable weekend.
Tournament registration is at leisure on Friday, where a complimentary practise round is on offer for those arriving in time to play. That night, a welcome reception hosted by Director of Golf, Ray Geffre officially kicks off the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday are the competition days, with a buffet lunch followed by tournament presentation and prize giving rounding off the weekend on Sunday afternoon.

Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, home to one celebrated Tom Doak creation and another that might have been, will host a special weekend event in 2025, where the American course architect himself will lead interactive course tours, play, dine and generally hobnob alongside fellow design aficionados high above sub-tropical waters of Hawke’s Bay.

This October the New Zealand String Quartet – Te Rōpu Tūrū o Aotearoa brings Sounds of the Sanctuary to Rosewood Cape Kidnappers - an unforgettable experience that evokes the beauty of nature and birdsong.
