Las Ventanas introduced a unique service to the resort world when it conceived the Department of Romance. The department's staff works very closely with guests, both in advance of arrival and during their stay, to plan and create romantic experiences that fulfill their desires and fantasies. They help guests concoct romantic weekends that are unforgettable. In many cases, they set the stage for unique marriage proposals – that invariably result in 'I do' – as well as help them plan weddings that will be their most cherished remembrance.
To fulfill, and exceed, guests' expectations, the staff gains an in-depth understanding of what the guests want and then sparks their imagination with inventive ideas and possibilities. The Department of Romance is especially delighted when they suggest something – such as a private candlelit dinner at the water's edge with a classical guitarist playing love songs – and see the guest’s eyes and heart light up, because they know they are creating memories that will last a lifetime.
